TELEVISION ART
Contrary to that little elitist smirk you are having from the reaction to the title, there IS actually an art to creating television! And it has been my career for decades. Media visuals are the bootcamp for finding the truth about images. Images can be powerful, yet incredibly short lived. Many of these images were created to a ridiculous deadline, with a lifespan of a few seconds to be consumed passively by millions of people. The art typically driven by what is possible of the tech tools of the time, and is used to enhance concepts, often with typography. At times, and when graphically successful, the visual adds a layer of subtle tone to support the story's point of view.
This process has had an enormous impact on how I create and value images.
Here is a small sample of 30 plus years of work.
